I heard about TNT's Diner from Roadfood and have been dying to try it out. I finally got my chance and this diner passes with flying colors! With no shortage of decor surrounding the seating, the menu is fairly varied. Breakfast is served all day (a standard for diners) but the sandwiches really make this West Fargo eatery stand out. They offer three different hot sandwiches - hot turkey, hot roast beef and hot hamburger. I went with the hot turkey sandwich and it was beyond praising. The sandwich itself is white bread with slices of chunky turkey and comes with both dressing and mashed potatoes; on top of that, the whole dish is covered in gravy! There are daily specials which vary such as Swedish meatballs, potato dumplings or open-faced chicken fried steak sandwiches. The desserts are even better as there is a wide variety of pies, cakes, cookies and other goodies like rhubarb crisp! The only problem with this place is that it's hard to find. It's part of what appears to be a strip mall behind Sandy's Donuts; it's hard to see unless you know where to look so I have to take off a few points for that. Other than that (small) flaw, TNT's Diner rivals any other diner or cafe in the Fargo-Moorhead area. Be sure to go here today for one of the hot sandwiches and desserts!

Visited the place on the recommendation of a local friend. It was not easy to find - the address lists it on main street but it's really on the side street behind Sandy's donuts. Not busy at all when I visited at 6:45 am on a Thursday morning. I appreciated the early open hours, and all the patrons were locals that were known by name. My service was fast, friendly, and attentive. My omelet was good - not great - but more than I could eat and only $12 total for food and coffee. No regrets making an effort to find this place. I love local holes-in-the-wall and this one was perfect. Highly recommend.

Great out of the way place. Last stop until Bismarck? You know it has to be good if Tom Hanks stops by when his plane breaks down. Breakfast available all the time (Chris' choice) or the Swedish meatballs - both great.

This diner is a good size and good prices. Friendly service and good diner food. Kids lunch menu gets a paper ford car as their plate. It was a big hit with our little ones

Roadfood.com got me here. The food may get me back (all the way from Buffalo, NY). Super friendly people work here. Nice menu, not too big but something for everyone. It's a diner, keep that in mind. breakfast all day, sandwiches etc for lunch etc. This is not a Michelin star place, its a diner. And a good one. I had breakfast food (if you read my reviews this wont surprise you), and it was great. Have to say, the bacon was out of this world, Dorothy, we are not in Kansas (or Oscar Meyer world) anymore. Egg was good, pancake was super, and I don't know how it was better than others, but it was. Lots of coke memorabilia. I should have asked, but maybe if you bring something nice and old coke related you get a lunch on them. Someone there is a Coke memorabilia fan. Easy parking. I did not learn the name of my server, unlike those below, but she was very nice and attentive. The comments below about the location are right on - its not really on the street its address is on, rather its at the end of a strip mall that fronts that street. Look for the sign (not the biggest one ever either). I do think they could do a better job of letting people know where they are, but have to say, the volume of people there likely don't make that necessary either. But for the roadfood.com'ers out there, it would be helpful. If you find yourself in Fargo, this is worth a visit for breakfast or lunch. Well worth it.

Amazing place! TNT has a great hometown diner atmosphere, amazing breakfast food, great daily specials, and some of the best pie in town.

Very good food and service. We had the biscuits & gravy (large potion!) and dinner special (Hawaiian chicken). Both meals reasonably priced. For dessert I had the bread pudding. This a must have! Will be back!

If your feeling in the mood for some old school diner food; look no further than TNT's diner. Delicious food, made from scratch Desserts, and the friendliest staff you'll ever meet.

Love the clam strips. Service can be a bit slow because they are always busy! Great pies, big portions, something for everyone. Tom Hanks likes their biscuits and gravy.

My friend and I went into this place yesterday for lunch and had the lovely Sha-ree as our waitress. I'll just address things in order for ease of reading starting with the food. The menu selection was good. It wasn't an immense and complicated menu. It has typical diner fare and looking at everything coming out of the pass, I didn't see a single dish that didn't look wonderful. I had the Hungry Man's Breakfast; 3 slices of bacon, 3 sausage links, 3 eggs, hashbrowns, and 2 buttermilk pancakes. The bacon was heavenly. The eggs, pancakes and hashbrowns were all cooked perfectly. Sha-ree suggested chipotle Tabasco sauce. A great addition to my eggs! Sha-ree suggested the bread pudding to my friend and I. It was some of the best that I've ever had. Service was outstanding in every sense of the word. Sha-ree is an absolute pleasure to be around, even as a customer. She's knowledgeable about menu items, always has a smile on her face and was quick to always check on us and offer helpful suggestions. I will definitely go back to this place. One of the best places I've eaten in Fargo.

A little hard to find, but the food is worth trying to find it. Fun atmosphere. My only complaint is that they are closed on Saturday and Sunday which are the two days I would be most likely to visit.

Great food, service and family atmosphere. Bigger inside areas than it looks from outside. Fast service and we were there when it was busy.

I am a huge fan of diners. When I travel, I always look for a local diner to try. That's been a little tough up here in Fargo. So far I know of two: Kroll's and now, thankfully, TNT's. I went here for lunch on a Saturday. I figured it would be pretty empty being a Saturday, and all. I couldn't have been more wrong. When I entered the place, every table was packed, and there was a wait at the door for to-go orders and people lining up at the register to pay their bill. We had to wait about ten minutes for a table, but I took the wait to be a good sign. My friend and I were seated toward the back of the main dining area - I say main dining area because there seemed to be some additional rooms hidden in the back. It was a good seat, we could watch the dining room and it gave us the opportunity to watch all the food coming out of the kitchen. By the way, all of the food looked great. The menu is pretty normal diner fare: burgers, sandwiches, huge breakfasts (served all day), fish & chips, etc. I had been craving a hot open-faced roast beef sandwich for a few weeks, so that's what I ordered. My friend ordered some gargantuan breakfast plate. My hot open-faced roast beef sandwich was served on top of a couple slices of white bread, with mashed potatoes and dressing on the side. All was covered with a rich brown gravy. It was all very good and definitely hit the spot. My only complaint would be that my food was not very hot, though my friend said his was. My food must have waited on his. Our waitress Sha-ree was awesome. She was very friendly and made us feel right at home. For as busy as the place was, I expected service to be slow. Not at all. She was right on point with making sure our drinks were full and that we had everything we needed. She even took some time out to talk to us about the place and made a suggestion for the bread pudding at the end of the meal. The bread pudding was excellent. It was very rich, with lots of cinnamon and covered in a caramel sauce, with a big dollop of whipped cream to top it all off. A couple things to note: They have somewhat limited hours. I am not sure what their normal hours are Monday through Friday, but on Saturday they are not open for dinner (they close at 3pm) and they are not open on Sundays at all. Also, when you are looking for this place, the map will show that it is right off the road that fronts main street (crossed by Sheyenne). The place is actually about 150 yards back in what looks to be an industrial area. Do not let this scare you. The place is well worth the visit. I will definitely be back. Thanks to TNT's and Sha-ree for a great diner experience. So far the best diner in Fargo and right up there with some of the best I have had anywhere.

My favorite diner. The atmosphere is perfectly 50s diner with plenty of gray-haired clientele amongst the business people and the average citizens. The local fare, including Klub (potato dumplings commonly made in fall,) is great and the standard diner fare is just as awesome. The country fried steak with white gravy is my absolute favorite meal and the bread pudding is REALLY as good as the shirts and locals say. The service is fast-paced with the bill arriving with or after desert is mentioned with drink refills before going up to the podium to pay. That makes TNTs a great place for a quick lunch or dinner.

If you're looking for an outstanding place for breakfast or lunch, this is worth the trip to West Fargo, trust me. Almost everything is homemade, service is super fast, and as cheap as it gets. Try the knoephla soup on Fridays, its the best! Also, leave room for dessert! Best diner I have ever been to.
